Cartridges

AES cartridges and MVS cartridges cartridges are made of two, double-sided boards. The top PROG board holds the P (68k code) and V ROMs (sound), while the bottom CHA board holds the C (sprite tiles), S (fix tiles) and M1 ROMs (sound driver).

Different boards were designed to accomodate various ROM sizes and protection chips. See Cartridge_specifications for a complete list of them.
