Physical switches on MVS boards used to configure various options like freeplay and multiplayer link. The switches states are readable through register REG_DIPSW.
- Switch 8: Freeze (done by software, in a BIOS call)
- Switch 7: Enable freeplay
- Switch 6: Enable communication
- Switches 4~5: Multiplayer link cab number setting
- Switch 3: Mahjong Controller
- Switch 2: Coin slots configuration
- Switch 1: Test mode
There's no such switches on AES and CD systems ($300001 reads what ?).
