MVS and AES cartridges are made of two, double-sided boards. The top ("PROG") board holds the [[P ROM|P]] and [[V ROM|V]] ROMs, while the bottom one ("CHA") holds the [[C ROM|C]], [[S ROM|S]] and [[M1 ROM|M1]] ROMs.


Early cartridges like [http://www.mvs-scans.com/index.php/Puzzled Puzzled] and [http://www.mvs-scans.com/index.php/Nam_1975 NAM1975] used lots of discrete logic chips for banking.
