Used to configure various options like freeplay and multiplayer link. The switches states are readable via software through register $300001 (REG_DIPSW)
- Switch 7: Freeze (stops clock)
- Switch 6: Enable freeplay
- Switches 5-4-3: Multiplayer link configuration
- Switch 2: Enable autofire
- Switch 1: Coin slots configuration
- Switch 0: Test mode
There's no such switches on AES and CD versions of the NeoGeo.
